Our retail designers have been involved in the redevelopment of Elephant Park since its masterplanning stages over a decade ago. The long-term partnership has evolved into us working particularly closely on Ash Avenue and Sayer Street.
We developed the initial shopfront design ideas for Ash Avenue and created a design guide, which Southwark Council approved as a planning document. This gave Rawls responsibility for planning and advertising permissions. We also designed several lively and engaging shopfronts for the white box units.
For Sayer St, we designed and produced custom outdoor furniture for workspaces, working with our furniture partner, Working Environments. This was part of a wider architectural concept, created in collaboration with the architect, landscape, and lighting teams.
So far we've helped over thirty independent and small-scale businesses through the landlord design approvals process to complete successful fit-outs at Elephant Park.
